Accounts Receivable Collections

The Accounts Receivable Collections report lists the outstanding invoices as of the selected final print ending date. The date and amount of the last payment for each client can also be included by setting the option to Yes.

Permissions Required for this Report

In the staff profile, staff must be assigned to a security group that is granted View functional rights for the following:

  • Security group profile > Functional rights > Reports > Shared Library > Shared Views
  • Security group profile > Functional rights > Reports > Firm Library > Custom
  • Security group profile > Functional rights > Reports > Firm Library > Standard > Firm
  • Security group profile > Functional rights > Reports > Firm Library > Standard > Practice
  • Security group profile > Functional rights > Reports > Firm Library > <report name>
  • Security group profile > Functional rights > Administration Manager > Client Manager > Approved Clients

Reports in Foundation that are Comparable

In Practice Management, the comparable report is AR Collections. In Practice Advantage, there is no comparable report.

Report Fields

The following fields are available for this report. The fields that display and the position of fields are based on the report's settings, grouping, sorting, and filters.

Client ID

The client ID and sub-ID (Client ID.Sub-ID).

Client Name

The client name.

Attention

The name entered in the Attention field on the Address/Phone window of the client profile.

Telephone

The client phone number.

Invoice Date/Ref Date

The date of the transaction.

Invoice/Ref #

The reference number of the transaction. The reference number is typically the invoice number, but could be the finance charge (FC) number, the misc. charge (MC) number, or the handling charge (HC) number.

Original Amount

The original amount of the transaction.

Remaining Amount

The remaining amounts of the transaction after all payments, credits, and/or debits have been applied.

Last Paid <amount> on <date>

The amount that was last paid and the payment date.
